“Authority”

David Petherick - Da Digital Biographer

What happens when you Google your name?

A few months ago, a friend, who is a writer, was interviewed by the Sunday Times. Big article, lots of mentions of his name, very favourable. Lovely. Well, not quite. Sadly, his name was spelled wrong. So people searching for him online would only find — that self-same article. Not great for his reputation as a connected networker, and someone who was easy to find online!

Until about 41 minutes later, of course, when a search for that misspelled name would find the article I wrote, which appeared above the Sunday Times article on Page 1 Position 1 of Google. From nowhere to Google Page 1 in 40 minutes! See what he wrote about it.

Now, that’s an extreme example, but it is possible to ensure that your name, when found, reflects the commentary and content that you wish to see - even if you are “unknown” and you share a name with thousands of people.

How? And How much?

I help you to structure your messages and make sure you are visible by ensuring that your messages are sent to the right places, in the right format.

I focus on making your profile intriguing, compelling, readable, focused, search-engine friendly, and designed to get you the desired visitors and responses to your writing that you want.

For Example
Ewan Morrison has had a blog created by Digital Biographer since publishing his first collection of short stories in 2005. Ask Ewan about how it’s helped to build his authority over the past three years - with two novels published, and a regular column for a national Sunday paper.
