More than starting hands that you dealt in a game there are other factors which must be taken into account at playing poker. If you remember that is described poker as card game, played with people - or anything on that score. It can not be over-estimated. More than cards which you hold, you must know the opponents, to be a successful player in poker. As well as in majority other things, it is possible to classify - though poorly are players in different categories.

By CAREEREALISM-Approved Expert , Andy Robinson Quality and Personal Excellence are two key elements of your Personal Brand. The degree to which you fully embrace the importance of these elements is communicated to others on a continuous basis and is incorporated into others’ vision of who you are — i.e., the Personal Brand that you broadcast . Those who are fully aware of this fact can definitely undertake action to broadcast a Personal Brand that elevates their professionalism through conscious focus on Quality and Personal Excellence .

What do you offer that nobody else can? It’s become inescapable. Today’s marketplace is as competitive as ever, and to stand out and prosper you need to build your personal brand. We’re hearing it all the time, yet, I still get asked, “Why do I really need a personal brand?” and “I’ve gotten along without it until now, so why now?” or “Tell me again, how will a personal brand help me land a job?” There are so many reasons why you need to build your authentic personal brand, but here are my top 5: 1)    Nobody is going to manage your career for you.

Today, while waiting on some YouTube videos to upload for a client and browsing though my blog reader trying to find a good blog topic, I started thinking – I don’t really know where the line is drawn between work stuff and personal stuff. What do I mean by this? Well, Pyxl is huge into social media and the digital revolution. So I’m encouraged required to keep up with everything hot and new in the space. One of the most important skills that we can develop to enhance our business success and our personal success is that of being able to speak and present in from of others. However, few of us ever get assistance and guidance in presenting and speaking in public. Being able to connect with an audience, no matter if there are 3 people or 3000 people in a room or at a virtual event such as a webinar or teleconference and being able to deliver a clear and inspiring message is a sure fire way to build your reputation and personal brand.

Chris Abraham By Chris Abraham, co-founder and principal of Abraham Harrison LLC : In a world in which everyone seems to be a chicken little speaking of the end of traditional journalism, PR and advertising, there are very few people who are working toward guiding the industry toward success in new new media. Some interesting books about “what’s next” that I am reading are The Chaos Scenario by Bob Garfield and Free: The Future of a Radical Price by Chris Anderson.

Yesterday, I argued that the most effective path to financial success is to boost your income. Frugality is an important part of personal finance, and you will eventually meet your goals if you simply cut your spending, but it might take you a very long time. Maybe even decades. To super-charge your savings, I believe you should look for ways to increase your income. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy to give advice about increasing income as it is about cutting expenses.

Boticca.com is a new online marketplace that sells hand-crafted unique accessories made by independent designers. It was launched at the end of September 2009 by two young entrepreneurs, Kiyan Foroughi and Niloufar Sassani , who are managing their new business between Paris and London. Before talking with Kiyan Foroughi, Boticca’s CEO, I checked his profile on LinkedIn, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that he had also graduated from Tufts University in Boston , where yours truly went to graduate school.
