So  ”How Do You Measure Twitter Influence?” .. Is it worth attempting to put a metric to?  This question is becoming more relevant and will continue to be increasingly important as the growth of Twitter climbs, the worldwide takeup continues to spread and its entanglement with other social media platforms. “Twitter Influence” could become a powerful and significant part of your brand whether its a ”personal brand” or a ”corporate brand”.

When incorporating personal branding into your online advertising efforts, it allows your target audience to get to know you, like you, trust you, and then be willing to do business with you. However, when advertising online the internet is an easy way for all of us to forget that people are still people, despite not being able to physically hear, touch, and speak to them. Therefore it is good to know some online advertising tips of the dos and don’ts in personal branding.
Running A Good Race - swrightboucher.wordpress.com

Inspiration is everywhere. The trick is recognizing it and grabbing it. Today I found it in a Facebook status from my friend Donna. She wrote this in preparation for running in a half marathon. I think we can all glean something from her words. Donna Foster-Larocquemy race mantras for today: Run Strong and steady. tough times will pass. Your mind is in charge. Keep your head in the game as it controls the body. Break down the route and set goals to reach each point.

The dictionary defines success as, “suc•cess (noun), the accomplishment of an aim or purpose”.  Buried a little deeper in the definition, is the reference to, “a person who attains profit or prosperity”.  At what point, did the definition of “success” become so aligned with net worth?  I remember a line in a movie when I was very young where an overly aggressive executive made the comment that “net worth was a way of keeping score”.  I can’t recall the movie, but it created a lot of debate, because

Over the summer, I briefly heard about a torture-pornish horror movie entitled The Human Centipede (First Sequence) but didn’t give it (or the title) a second thought. Well, over the weekend Centipede slithered into the orgasmic  Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas and after the screening the buzz suddenly recalled the barfers-barfing-on-barfers scene from  Stand By Me . Capitalizing on the barf, the producers have released a teaser clip from the film, posted below.

by Ellie Gant Surprisingly, the Wow Green compensation plan demonstrates that some ideas are evidently too profitable to go away. Just like all the old programs from the 1970’s, this plan involves going around talking other people into selling the same thing you’re selling. That’s right: creating your own competition is what the Wow Green compensation plan is all about. Let’s forget about why exactly you would do that, and ask a more important question instead: why does the Wow Green compensation plan expect you to do that? It’s not hard to understand, when you really think about it.

by Ellie Gant Some ideas are just too profitable to go away - and the Wow Green compensation plan certainly demonstrates that. This plan involves talking all the people you can into selling the same things you’re selling, just like all the old programs from the 1970’s. That’s right: the Wow Green compensation plan is about creating your own competition, and making your job even more difficult.
The Personal Brand Entourage - myfuturemyself.wordpress.com

The HBO show, Entourage , cracks me up.  If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s a comedy about the lifestyle and escapades of a hot Hollywood movie star and his pack of handlers, friends, lovers, relatives, et al.   “Entourage” is a term usually reserved for royalty and celebrities.  I mean the rest of us regular people move through life very differently, in a much more self-reliant manner, right?  Who can afford an entourage?  Well, as ESPN’s Lee Corso says, “not so fast my friend.”

A Generic Rant Is Best When Playing In The Closing Escrow Superbowl… I wil not pretend to be so arrogant as to assume to school you on how you feel or bicker about how you express those feelings. I will urge caution because as a periodic playful and crazy person I do understand insanity when I see it (LOL). Why don’t I just make it about me responding to what I see: A broker who questions the ethics or practices of another broker may freely choose not to do business with the person who ticks them off or sets their alarm bells in motion.
