Ronaldo needs a wifedirtytackle.net

Sports business strategists are tapping Cristiano Ronaldo to take over David Beckham’s mantle as the footballer to earn the most from endorsements as Beckham reaches as advanced age and Ronaldo begins his first season with Real Madrid after his world record transfer. The Ronaldo brand, however, is not without its faults. Says Simon Chadwick, professor of sport business strategy and marketing at Coventry University in England: “Beckham was so successful at Real in part because he was seen as playing for the team.

If there’s been one sole website that has truly captured the zeitgeist of the bloghouse era, it is without a doubt HIPSTER RUNOFF , run by the elusive yet highly influential and often imitated “Carles.” Nothing concrete is known about Carles; his age, race, education and even his sex are all unknown, and all have been contradicted dozens of times throughout HRO’s lifespan. Yet these slight paradoxes have not stopped Carles’ legion of fans from keeping up to date with his day-to-day commentaries on all things 2K9, indie and above all, relevant.

From CIO News Roundup today: By Divina Paredes | Thursday, August 13 2009 Your network is your personal brand, you should grow it regardless of the economic situation. Your network is the amount of people you know. That is your personal brand; grow it regardless of the economic situation, advises former Merrill Lynch stockbroker turned strategic communications consultant Mark Jeffries. At last week’s SAS Premier Business Leadership Series in Singapore, Jeffries shares what he calls the “three Rs of networking” – radar, reach and reward.

Can we ignore for a minute the advantages and disadvantages of Brett Favre signing with the Minnesota Vikings? Let’s just agree on this: Brett Favre has no credibility in anything he says. He may be a great talent, he may help a football team and he has certainly performed in the past . But performance isn’t everything; indeed, how you go about getting the performance counts as well. Brett has pondered the retirement thing for so long — and the media has gone along with the charade all the while — that I can’t remember when Brett was really just an active player playing on a team.

In this bittersweet music, Schubert added an extra cello to the standard string quartet, and in the process created a completely new sound for a small string ensemble. Hear a performance that deeply probes Schubert’s personal brand of lyrical melancholy.
Twitter and finding a jobfunnyweblink.com

Twitter is an original micro blogging service that was created with the intention of posting updates through either SMS or even text messages. With the growing numbers of users on this site, it can be used for purposes such as business or even for finding jobs. Twitter helps in building an efficient network and even to focus on job search goals. Twitter is a great way to show a personal brand by exhibiting one’s expertise. A person must first discover the potential in Twitter.

The cutting-edge of social media entrepreneurship is very clear… You absolutely NEED to start establishing yourself as a ‘name brand’ if you truly want to use social media to create a life-long income stream that pays you no matter what company or product you’re currently promoting.  It’s no longer enough to just use social media, sites like Twitter and Facebook, to promote or sell products and services… People want to partner with and work with people whom they know, trust, like and respect.  And the smartest way to build trust and credibility is by establishing your own personal brand.
How PPT Can Kill Your Brandpersonalbrandingstrategy.blogspot.com

What’s the very worst PowerPoint slide you’ve ever seen? My guess is if we had a dollar for each bad slide we’ve seen, we could bail out GM, Ford, Bank of America and the country of China. Sadly, slides can be pretty boring and sometimes, just downright awful.Think of a slide that imitates Word and is just line and line of text, or a slide with so many effects it just swirls and twirls forever. OK. We all agree we’ve seen some pretty bad slides in our day.

That is your Google Quotient. Career Distinction has a neat little tool called an Online Identity Calculator or your GQ.A while back I started reading a few blogs on branding, marketing and online community presence. I’ve been very in intrigued by watching Cheryl Smith on Twitter.  She makes contacts, networks and connects people like nobody’s business. She gets it. She’s owning it. Her name. Her brand. And she’s working it.

In my second post I discovered that a lack of knowledge about social media, professional introversion, working environment restrictions and blurring between personal and private lives were the four significant factors behind the reasons behind the slow adoption of social media with professors at universities. I also highlighted that a tipping point is not on the horizon where professors would have been forced to adopt social media in their teaching, but rather there are certain chunks of the social media spectrum, such as twitter that are being more readily adopted.

Seeing as how Twitter is becoming more and more popular amongst businesses (even Walmart uses it!) we have decided to give you a quick over view of some Twitter best practises.   Top 10 Twitter Tips:   1)    Make objectives about what you want to achieve by using Twitter, and stick to them. You need to know what you want to achieve with Twitter. If there are too many things, create more than one account – each one should have its own agenda and credibility. Think about your user name.

Writer and occasional fundraising consultant Ken Burnett has been struggling lately with Twitter. In this blog post , reproduced below with permission, he vents his frustrations and offers a solution. I thought you might enjoy his tribulations. Or as Ken asks:     Is it time for Twitter Elite? Or is Twitter suicide the only option? I took some persuading to even try Twitter. But the challenge of communicating meaningfully in 140 characters or less intrigued me. (131 chars, inc spaces).

LOS ANGELES, Aug 12 — Job-seeking in this 21st century recession may just have gone viral and mobile. Since the start of the recession in December 2007, about 6.7 million workers have been laid off according to latest statistics — at a time the popularity of social networking sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter have exploded, drawing millions of users per day.

A few months ago, personal-branding guru Dan Schawbel sent me a review copy of his book, Me 2.0: Build a Powerful Brand to Achieve Career Success , which came out this spring. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to review it yet for A Storied Career’s parent site, Quintessential Careers, but I thought about it recently when I read Part 6 (of a planned 10) of an ongoing personal-branding story by Marcos Salazar on Dan’s blog . More about that later.

<h2 align=”center”>What Makes the Ugg Bailey Button Boot Such a Hit?</h2>

It's simple. UGG Australia has morphed together their two most popular styles. They started with the ever-popular UGG Classic Short Boot and then added a Wooden Button from their best-selling, as seen on Oprah, UGG Cardy. Put them together and you get this year's must have UGG style – the Ugg Bailey Button.

The Bailey Button is available in 5 colors including Black, Chestnut, Grey, Chocolate and Sand. California-based retailer Footwear etc. has received all 5 colors into stock at their 7 stores and is already seeing positive results. Footwear etc. Manager, Andrew Monarch, said "It is not a matter of IF the Bailey sells out, but how quickly. We highly recommend that our customers secure their boots early before it's too late."

Right, it is not a matter of IF the Bailey sells out, but how quickly. So we highly recommend that our customers secure their pair early before it's too late.

The UGG Bailey Button is also very versatile as it can be worn up or folded down for a different look. They feature a soft foam insole and a genuine sheepskin lining. If you haven't experience the comfort of authentic UGG Australia Boots yet then your feet have been missing out. Give the new UGG Bailey Button a try today or if it's not for you, there's always the popular classic styles including UGG Classic Short, UGG Classic Tall and UGG Classic Cardy.

But remember… don't wait to get your UGGs. Every year people procrastinate and then they can't find the UGG Boots they want. UGG Sale–Shop early for the best selection. The closer to Christmas you get the harder it gets to find UGGs.
