There are moments of epiphany (relevant essence of something) in a continuous learning process. I went through something like this at the last course of project management. A simple sentence has triggered a complex process: S trategy is the way in which you reach your objectives . When I heard it my past experiences and knowledge have become pieces on a chessboard in a game where I know beforehand what moves my opponent will do.

I was looking at the meta tag cloud on my blog site today when I was struck by this thought: What if we could capture key words from our live conversations for a week and then view them in aggregate? Image via Wikipedia The Chicagoland, Madison, Green Bay, Indy Tour! I’m taking a few days off in Wisconsin – as my sister is getting married in Green Bay this coming weekend. There’s a flurry of activity here – but it won’t involve the radio. For the first time since I can remember I am not doing “Dialed In” and will be off Wed., Thurs, and Friday of this week. I am headed to Indy early and staying in the Midwest since Chicago so I will return to “Dialed In” next Wednesday, LIVE from Indianapolis Motor Speedway .

I have been prayer a lot lately, the more busy I am, the more I pray. I feel refresh and strong after I close up my prayer. This month is really a peak month for me. I have tons of works, responsibilities, and many things that need to be done in short time. I wish there are 48 hours in one day so I can sleep more and do my work more. Before this, I have no idea how prayer can help my personality. I am impatient person and easily anger by simple things.

[My response to a great post by Tom Martin: Can a 10 Year Old Have a Personal Brand?] “NOT having a personal brand is like standing in a stadium full of people and hoping work will find you.” There is a difference between a personal “brand” and being a kickass 10 year-old pitcher. What your son has is budding reputation, not a brand. The brand comes in when he/you/the coach/the company starts putting a phrase, ID or “brand” around your son.In my case, building a personal brand inside Dell was vital to my survival.

Of course, it can also provide for a very valuable learning experience. When considering what you want to pursue, conduct a self assessment to understand your skills, interests, and drivers. Speak to friends and family members to get some ideas. Knowledge is power; and a sure fire way to narrow things down is to engage in discussions with others to understand options.
