It has been long debated whether a professional logo is essential for professional practices such as doctors, vets, dentist and so on. The answer for it is definitely a “Yes”. A logo allows your target clients the first impressions about your company. If you have a professional logo, it will ultimately communicate who you are and what your company offerings. The initial impression is the one that sticks, and it couldn’t be any different in the business circle.

Inside Hewitt w/Chris Gould: Building Trust in a Global Social Organization When I started with Hewitt Associates a little over a year ago I was brought on to build out a global sourcing organization. The task was a little daunting, but building something new has always been exhilarating and I couldn’t wait to get started. I could fill 20 pages with what we have been doing over the last year, so I will focus on our first challenge, building trust… If you are like me, you probably grimace when someone suggests you give up control.

Last week I was honored to speak at two Dale Carnegie events, along side with Troy Treleaven the Regional Vice-President and Managing Partner for Dale Carnegie. The events were a great experience for me other then a few technical issues during the second event. We received awesome feedback and I love the opportunity to share my thoughts and experiences with other people – especially when a few people came up to me afterwards and told me I inspired them (what a great feeling) Troy is a wonderful

Live on the Marketing Edge! HOW TO HAVE FUN - HOW TO ADD A LITTLE EDGE - AND HOW TO WIN AT MARKETING Do you believe that marketing is a full contact sport? I work in marketing and business. I’m supposed to know all about branding and yet I’m getting confused about social media. I had these grand ideas about compartmentalising my use of social media channels. I use Facebook for keeping in touch with my personal friends (some of whom I’ve worked with in the past), LinkedIn to keep in touch with present/past colleagues, business/career contacts I’ve met along the way (some of whom happen to be personal friends) and then I decided to sign up to Twitter to see what that was all about, which turns out to be a mixture of everything.

Is Bing the next new verb? - workinmypajamas.com 07/12/2009 I “google” everything. I “twitter” random quotes. And as the world of technology evolves, new words are making their way into our dictionaries every day. Makes playing Scrabble a bit easier I must say. But watch out Google, there’s a new search engine in town, Bing.com . And my guess is that Microsoft is hoping “bing” will be the next new verb among our lingo.

A brand is the essence of who you are. The more powerful the brand the more memorable you will become. Think about brands that you can identify with. What impresses you about them and what attributes make you remember them? Brand icons didn’t get that way over night and many of them have failed because they couldn’t “connect” with their audience. Strong brands will stand the test of time.

If you have chosen a network marketing business for your home based business, you are no doubt looking for a source of residual income. Unfortunately many people do not know how to build their business in a way that will provide them with the income that they dream of. First of all you have to realize that network marketing is not going to give you the massive income you deserve if it is run like a direct sales business.
